Requirements:

  • A TikTok Business Account.
  • Direct messages enabled for Everyone.
  • Any Kommo plan (Base, Advanced, Enterprise, or a 14-day trial).

Limitations:

  • Available for all Business Accounts, except those signed up in the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the UK.
  • Sending and receiving direct messages to/from the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the UK will not be received due to TikTok policies.
  • The TikTok Business Messaging API and the associated functionalities are currently in the Beta stage, and available in select regions.
  • Media messages may not be supported in some regions, including the USA.
  • You can send up to 10 messages within 48 hours of receiving a message.
  • After 48 hours, you must wait for the user to reply before sending more messages.
  • Supports text, images, and TikTok post shares only.

Setting up your TikTok Business Account

Before connecting TikTok to Kommo, make sure you have a Business Account and allow messages from everyone. Follow these steps:

  1. Open the TikTok app. Go to Profile > Settings and privacy > Account.

  1. Select Switch to Business Account.

  1. Then, go back to Profile > Settings and privacy. Head to Privacy > Direct messages.

  1. Set Allow direct messages from to Everyone.

Connecting TikTok to Kommo

Follow these steps to set up the integration:

  1. In Kommo, go to Settings > Integrations > TikTok. Click Install.

  1. Select Continue with TikTok.

  1. Log in to TikTok and grant access to your Business Account.

  1. Set up a welcome message and hit Send for review.

  • A welcome message automatically accepts new leads and lets them send more than three messages.
  • This message must comply with TikTok’s Terms and Policies.
  • The review process is usually quick (around 2-3 hours).
  1. After TikTok approves your welcome message, click Edit to make changes.

  1. Once updated, re-submit it for TikTok’s review clicking on Send for review.

Once the setup is complete, you can:

  • Receive and respond to TikTok messages in Kommo, keeping all conversations in one place.
