Dynamic Fields

September 6, 2022

Dynamic fields can be a great asset to personalize your messages while sending them to a group of people or using the same template for repetitive answers. They automatically pull out the information from a Lead card saving you a lot of time and energy. You can use the dynamic fields while creating chat/email templates, sending broadcasts, creating forms or just writing an ordinary message. Let’s see what kind of dynamic fields you can make use of in Kommo.

There are four types of Placeholders:

Leads

ID - This is an ID of the Lead card. Every lead has an identification number of 7 digits and should not be confused with the Lead name.

Lead name - Lead name is the name of the Lead. Lead name can be found on the top of the left-side menu of the lead profile. When a lead has no name, it is named the same as its ID number. For example, Lead #1234567

Sale value - is the potential value that the lead may bring to your business. For example if a Lead wants to buy your product for $100, the sale value of the Lead is $100.

Contact name - Contact name can also be tricky. It should not be confused with the Lead name. For example, if a Lead is grabbed from an Instagram account, then the contact name of the Lead is the same as the Instagram name of the Lead. If a lead wrote from the instagram account called “Alba Ampar”, then it will be considered as a contact name. It doesn’t necessarily mean that the name of the Lead will be Alba Ampar as well. If the Lead has several contacts then there can be several contact names.

Company name - Company name is the name of the company that the Lead works in.

Lead stage - Lead stage is the stage of the Lead in the Pipeline.

Responsible user - is the user that is responsible for the Lead.

referrer - shows the website where the lead came from.

gclientid - Google client identification - Client ID (cid) is a unique identifier for a browser–device pair that helps Google Analytics link user actions on a site. The cid parameter helps you identify unique visitors and understand what each of them was doing on your site at different times.

gclid - Google click identification - Google Click ID (GCLID) is a parameter passed in the URL with ad clicks, to identify the campaign and other attributes of the click associated with the ad for ad tracking and campaign attribution. In Google Ads, this is enabled by turning on the auto-tagging setting.

fbclid - Facebook click identifier.
