Connect Dropbox to Kommo

Requirements:

  • Available in all Kommo plans or an active 14-day trial.
  • An active Dropbox account.

Limitations:

  • If your Dropbox account reaches its limit, you won’t be able to upload more files until you free up space or upgrade your plan.
  • Files follow your Dropbox sharing settings — if a file isn’t shared with the right people, teammates may not be able to open it from Kommo.

By integrating Dropbox with Kommo, you can store all your sales and marketing files securely in the cloud while keeping them linked to the right leads. You’ll free up Kommo storage space, keep your documents organized, and make it easy for your whole team to access files anytime.

Use cases

  • Store signed contracts automatically: Upload signed agreements or proposals directly to a lead’s card in Kommo. The files are stored in Dropbox, keeping your Kommo storage light and your documents easy to find.
  • Attach marketing materials to the right leads: Link personalized brochures, presentations, or campaign briefs through Dropbox so every file stays connected to the correct lead and visible to your team.
  • Share files during sales follow-ups: Send updated price lists or demo decks right from Dropbox. Your team can always access the latest version directly from Kommo.
  • Keep documents organized automatically: Every file added via the Dropbox button is stored in a dedicated Kommo folder inside Dropbox, so your files stay sorted and easy to locate — even outside Kommo.

How to install Dropbox in Kommo

  1. In Kommo, go to the Integration marketplace.

  1. Search for Dropbox and click Install.

  1. The integration modal will appear. Click Install.

  1. Click Save to continue.

  1. Log in to your Dropbox account.

  1. Grant the required permissions.

Once connected, Kommo automatically creates a Kommo folder in your Dropbox account — and you’re ready to start uploading!

How to use Dropbox in Kommo

The integration allows you to increase your account storage capacity by attaching files in Kommo lead cards which are then saved in Dropbox:

  1. Go to a pipeline and open any lead’s chat where you want to upload a file.

You can also open a chat from the Communication section.

  1. In the chat box, select Note, then click the Dropbox icon. Choose the file you want to attach.

  1. The file will appear in the lead feed as a Dropbox link.

When you click the link, it opens the file in Dropbox. You can also find all your uploaded files directly in Dropbox under Applications → Kommo (messenger-based CRM).

If you need more help with setup or troubleshooting, feel free to reach out to our support chat or contact us via WhatsApp. You can also hire a Kommo partner to do all the hard work for you.
