Choose an AI agent package

The Kommo AI agent automatically replies to customer messages and supports ongoing chats using the rules and business data you set in Kommo.

Each account starts with a one-time free AI agent usage credits, which are used as the AI agent replies in conversations. Once these credits are used, the AI agent stops replying in external chats. You’ll need to purchase an AI agent package for the AI agent to start working with leads again.

AI agent packages are paid add-ons that let the AI agent continue working after the free credits run out. They don’t add new features — they only add more usage.

Currently, Kommo offers four AI agent packages:

• Starter — includes 5,000 credits per 30-day period
• Growth — includes 50,000 credits per 30-day period
• Scale — includes 100,000 credits per 30-day period
• Custom — includes higher credit limits for businesses with very high message volumes

With an AI agent package, credits reset every 30 days from the purchase date, not by calendar month, and unused credits expire at the end of each period.

Example: You purchase the Starter AI agent package on January 20. Your subscription ends on July 5.

What happens:

• The package works from January 20 to July 5
• Your usage limit resets every 30 days, starting on January 20
• You get 5,000 credits for each 30-day period, even the last, shorter one
• Credits you don’t use expire at the end of each period

When choosing an AI agent package, consider the following factors:

When choosing an AI agent package, consider how many customer messages your account handles, how often the AI agent replies, and how long conversations usually last.

• Starter — best for estimating your message volume and testing how often the AI agent is used in customer chats. (For example: answering everyday customer questions).
• Growth — suitable for steady, predictable usage where the AI agent replies regularly. (For example: ongoing sales or support conversations).
• Scale — designed for high message volumes that require fast AI agent replies across many chats. (For example: ad campaigns, broadcasts, or new product launches).
• Custom packages — for very high message volumes and advanced needs. (For example: thousands of messages per day during large campaigns or frequent outbound messaging).

To understand your current usage, go to AI agent → Performance tab. In this section, you can see how often the AI agent replies and its activity over the last 7 days.

In addition to usage, it’s important to understand when an AI agent package starts and how long it remains active.

The scenarios below explain the most common situations related to AI agent packages:

After purchase, the package stays active until the subscription ends. The usage limit resets every 30 days, and you receive the full usage limit for each period — even if the last period is shorter than 30 days.

Example:

• You purchase an AI agent package on January 20
• Your subscription ends on July 5

What happens:

• The package is active from January 20 to July 5
• Usage limits reset every 30 days:

January 20 → February

19 February 20 → March 21

March 22 → April 20

April 21 → May 20

May 21 → June 19

June 20 → July 5 (shorter period)

• You receive a full usage limit for every usage period, including the final, shorter one

The AI agent stops replying in conversations when all credits from the current package are used. To keep using the AI agent, the package needs to be upgraded.

After the upgrade, the price difference between the two packages is charged. The credit difference is then added for the rest of the current usage period.

From the next usage period, the full credit amount of the new package applies.

Example:

• You start a usage period with the Starter package
• Before the period ends, all 5,000 credits are used
• You decide to upgrade to Growth

What happens:

• The price difference between the Starter and Growth packages is charged
• Credits from the Starter package are counted toward the Growth package limit for the current period (Growth package – Starter package → 50,000 − 5,000 = 45,000 credits remaining)
• The full Growth usage limit applies in future usage periods

You can purchase an AI agent package for the first time and upgrade to a higher package later.

When you upgrade, the new, higher usage limit starts right away. Credits already used are counted toward the new package, and you can use them for the rest of the period.

Example:

• You start a usage period on March 1 with the Starter package
• By March 15, you decide to upgrade to Growth

What happens:

• The Growth usage limit applies from March 15 onward
• Credits used between March 1–15 are counted toward the Growth package limit for the current period (e.g., if you used 2,500 credits from the Starter package and upgrade to the Growth package → 50,000 − 2,500 = 47,500 credits remaining)
• The higher limit continues to apply in future periods

AI agent packages can be purchased on their own if you already have an active paid subscription, or together with a subscription-related action — such as a renewal, plan upgrade, or adding users.

In both cases, the package stays active until the subscription ends.

Example:

• On May 5, you renew your subscription
• On the same day, you also purchase an AI agent package

What happens:

• The subscription renewal sets a new subscription end date
• The AI agent package ends on the same date as the subscription
• The package stays active for the full subscription period
• Usage resets every 30 days, just like any other package

If you are on a trial, an AI agent package can only be purchased together with a paid subscription. It can’t be purchased on a trial account alone.

When purchased together with a paid subscription, the package starts working immediately and remains active until the subscription ends.

Example:

• You purchase an AI agent package on January 16
• Your trial ends on January 25

What happens:

• The package starts on January 16
• It covers the remaining trial days
• It continues working after January 25 when the paid subscription begins
