How to Integrate Kommo with PieSync?
To connect Kommo you need to input your Kommo domain name, your Kommo username, and your API key.
- Your domain – the address/name of Kommo account
- Your username – the email address you use to log in into Kommo
- Your API key, which can be found by clicking on your profile picture (above dashboard button) and then click profile. Your API key is listed here
Note: If you change your password in Kommo you will need to re-integrate PieSync.
To start using your Kommo account with PieSync you need to create a 14-day free PieSync trial (unless you already have an account) and then authorize Kommo and the app you want it to sync with. Then, please follow these steps:
- Choose Kommo and the second app you want to integrate with, for example AirCall
- PieSync will ask you to authorize within both systems
- Click Authorize and fill out the form
Alternatively, if you already have a PieSync account and have used Kommo with PieSync in the past, you can simply choose your Kommo account from connected accounts.
And you’re good to go!
Set Up Your Contacts Data Sync
Once you authorize Kommo and the app of your choice, you can choose either two-way sync, which is chosen by default or alternatively one-way sync.
To choose one-way sync or two-way sync between apps, use the arrow buttons at the top of the “configure your connection” section
There are 2 rules in two-way sync: [IF] and [THEN]. PieSync allows you to define exactly what data to move between apps.
- [IF] includes tags, the contact owner, linked leads, tasks, and fields
- [THEN] includes adding and removing tags, and updating fields
Depending on what app you want to sync Kommo with, PieSync will automatically map contact fields with each other. If you want all-to-all sync, then PieSync does this automatically and you don’t need to change anything else. You can also map other Kommo fields that aren’t included by default, however, your custom fields cannot be synced.
Pro tip: You should set up the sync so that it includes not only contacts but also segmentation, tags, groups, categories, custom attributes, etc.
Default Field Mapping
Depending on the other app you’re syncing with, you’ll see a number of standard Kommo fields being mapped. For instance, a connection with Google Contacts will look something like this:
Syncing Deletions
Not only can you set up two-way contact sync, but it also works on deletions. Set up sync deletions between Google and Kommo and whenever a contact is deleted in Google Contacts, a tag will be created in Kommo called ‘PieSync Trash’, so you can decide whether to delete this contact in Kommo too.
Syncing Unsubscribers
Similar to syncing deletions, you are able to set up a connection between Kommo and a marketing tool such as MailChimp. This means that whenever a contact unsubscribes, a tag will be created in Kommo called ‘PieSync Unsubscribes’, so you can decide what action should you take in your Kommo account.
